Wartburg visits Luther Saturday in the 60th meeting between these arch rivals. Luther is 2-0 and coach Paul Hefty says the defense has carried the Norse to this point as they’ve played a field position game that hasn’t racked up a lot of offensive yardage.Hefty says the defense has given the Norse great field position and the offense has capitalized. He says they’ve scored points when they get a chance, but the defense gets credit for putting them in good position.Wartburg is also 2-0 and the Knights have won the last ten games in the series.Wartburg coach Rick Willis says they take pride in the streak, but it’s not the total focus of their goals. Hefty says both teams will be highly motivated.
