UNI volleyball team looks to regain lead in Valley race

The Northern Iowa Volleyball team finds itself in unfamiliar territory in the Missouri Valley Conference race. The Panthers trail Bradley and Southwest Missouri State in the conference standings after losing at Bradley this past weekend. U-N-I coach Bobbi Peterson says there are a lot of great teams in the league. The Panther’s role has changed since the start of conference play, from predators to prey.Peterson says to regain their form the Panthers need to improve their defense.U-N-I slipped three spots to tenth in the latest coaches top-25.
