Northern Iowa coach Mark Farley says the Panthers answered the challenge last week. U-N-I snapped a two-game losing streak with a 22-7 win over Youngstown State. He says it was a gratifying day to see the team and coaches respond, and he says it took a team effort to get the win. Farley says the Panthers were rewarded for a consistent effort on offense, defense and special teams. The Panthers return to Gateway Conference action this weekend at home against Illinois State. Farley says this is a better team than the one that beat UNI last year.
