The Iowa State Cyclones have fallen to 22nd in the A-P poll after a second straight loss on the road to a top ten opponent. The Cyclones provided a much better effort than last week at Oklahoma but a couple of missed field goals proved costly in a 21-10 loss Texas. The Cyclones led 10-7 at the half but the Longhorns Cedric Benson scored on a 59-yard run on the fourth play of the third quarter as the Longhorns took the lead for good. Benson finished the day with 199-yards of rushing as the Cyclones fell to 6-3 overall heading into this weekend’s game at home against Missouri.
