The 21st ranked Iowa State Cyclones could take a big step toward the Big-12 North Division title when they visit 12th ranked Kansas State. Cyclone coach Dan McCarney says the first few possessions will be crucial to the Cyclones’ chances.McCarney says on the road the Cyclones can not afford to make mistakes as Kansas State has been dominating for the last two weeks.McCarney says the Wildcats have developed a big home field advantage.The sixth-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes look to stay unbeaten in the Big Ten with their home finale against Northwestern. The Wildcats are coming off their first league victory against Indiana but Hawkeye coach Kirk Ferentz says they played well against Big Ten co-leader Ohio State.Ferentz says Northwestern still features a no huddle offense.The Hawks are two wins away from a Big Ten title and Ferentz feels the Hawkeyes have the right mindset. He says all they can do is give it their best shot the next two weeks and live with what happens. Ferentz says no matter what happens, they’ll be able to look back and see they’re going in the right direction.
