The Iowa Hawkeyes open the Big Ten basketball race on the road at Northwestern. With a limited roster the Hawks head into the conference race with low expectations but coach Steve Alford says they enter with the right attitude.The Hawkeyes have dropped their last two games at Northwestern.Alford says while little is expected from the Hawkeyes, the players feel differently.Northwestern is 8-3 and coach Bill Carmody says the season moves to a new level with conference play.Former Benton Community high school standout Aaron Jennings is off to a good start to his senior season. The 6-11 Center is second on the team in scoring despite being limited in practice due to injury.
