Two die in Hancock County crash

Two north-central Iowa men are dead after a head-on crash yesterday in Hancock County.78-year-old Ralph Eugene Lease of Iowa Falls and 48-year-old Edward Franklin Louk Junior of Kanawha were killed in the accident a quarter-mile north of Goodell on U-S Highway 69. Lease was traveling southbound when he crossed the center line, striking Louk’s vehicle almost head-on. Both Lease and Louk were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred at about 2:20 yesterday afternoon.
