Cedar Falls couple attacked while trying to do good deed

A Cedar Falls couple that was trying to be good samaritans, ended up being victims of a crime. Black Hawk County sheriff’s deputies say a stranger came to the Cedar Falls home and was allowed to make a phone call. They say the stranger then assaulted the man, but his wife escaped to go for help. The stranger broke out the window of her car as she fled. The man was not seriously injured, police are still looking for the attacker.
