Drake returns to the site of the infamous “hot dog” game tonight when they visit Indiana State. It was February 19th last year when a hot dog was thrown on the floor after a disputed call in the final seconds. Indiana State was assessed a technical foul and cashed in for a 62-60 win. Drake coach Kurt Kanaskie says he felt bad at the time, because a team shouldn’t loose a game based on a hot dog. Kanaskie says though his team needs any kind of a win as they stand 2-9 in the Valley.Like the Bulldogs, Indiana State is struggling and has just one Valley win in 11-starts.Indiana State coach Royce Waltman ,who attributes much of the Sycamores shooting woes to the lack of an inside game.
