The Drake women return to Missouri Valley Conference action tonight at Southern Illinois. The Bulldogs are 7-4 in conference play and coach Lisa Stone says her team is winning with defense. Drake’s defensive numbers rank amongst the best in the program’s history. She says the team has comitted itself to playing defense. Southern Illinois is 1-9 in conference play but Stone says they have some weapons and can score.
