The Iowa Hawkeyes open the final week of the regular season at Michigan State Wednesday night. The Hawks fell to 6-8 in the Big Ten after a heartbreaking 91-88 loss at Indiana on Saturday night, a game in which they rallied from a 15-point halftime deficit.Coach Steve Alford says several players suffering nagging injuries need to rest-up in the next couple of days. He says they have to get everyone healthy to finish the season strong.Alford hopes for better success at Michigan State after coming up short against the Hoosiers. He says the team fought hard enough to win the game.Junior center Jared Reiner had 25-points and 17-rebounds and says after a sluggish opening half the Hawks came to life.
