Search is on for deadly hit-and-run driver in Southwest Iowa

April 18, 2003 By admin

A southwest Iowa teen who was apparently run over is dead and authorities are searching for the vehicle that hit him. 18-year-old Tyson McCain of Hancock was found lying next to a gravel road yesterday morning near Oakland and died last night at Creighton University hospital in Omaha. The Pottawattamie County Sheriff is investigating the death as a vehicle-pedestrian hit-and-run accident.
