The quarterfinal round in Class 1A highlights tonight’s action at the Girls’ State Soccer Tournament in Muscatine. Waterloo Columbus takes on top ranked and unbeaten Gilbert in one of the early games. For Columbus and coach Jose Infante it is a first ever appearance in the tournament. He says it will be a tremendous experience no matter what happens.Senior midfielder Megan Kluck says they don’t mind the underdog role in this contest. She says they put pressure on themselves, but Gilbert has more pressure because of their ranking and record. Columbus is 16-2.
