Authorities in a Cedar Rapids suburb are investigating a suspicious death. A 36-year-old single mother of three was found dead in her apartment in Hiawatha. Investigators say she died sometime Sunday night or early Monday. Police found evidence at the scene that made them classify the death as suspicious, and they’ve launched a murder investigation. The woman had worked at a convenience store in Hiawatha and cops are on the lookout for her newly-purchased car — a light blue Plymouth Sundance. It has no plates. They believe a man who was a friend of the woman is driving the car, and he is considered a suspect in her death.
