Iowa State coach Dan McCarney wants the offense to become more consistent in this weekend’s game against Ohio. The Cyclone offense stalled in the fourth quarter of their 17-10 win over U-N-I despite several chances to put the game away. He says it was a combination of things, not any one person, but he says they have to execute better.Michael Wagner will get the start at running back after opening the season behind freshman Stevie Hicks. McCarney says Wagner is the epitomie of a team player, and says he was a little more effective than Hicks. McCarney says Hiawatha Rutland will play on Saturday after serving a one-game suspension. McCarney says what Rutland did, he did to himself, and has taken his punishment like a man.
