Davenport robber nabbed quickly

September 4, 2003 By admin

Davenport police had some help in solving a bank robbery. It was nine Wednesday morning when a man handed the teller at a Wells Fargo bank a note saying he had a gun, and walked out with cash. They’d barely taken a look at security videos when tips started coming in from people who named the suspect, and police who went and collected photos of that suspect say they matched the pictures on the bank cameras. He’d also left his stickup note behind, and the handwriting matched samples from the suspect. Terrence Lamar Hicks of Rock Island is charged with first-degree robbery.
