Rockwell-Collins buys Virginia company

Rockwell-Collins officials say they hope the purchase of N-L-X company will significantly enhance the company’s capability to provide world-class service and support to its customers. Jeff Moder, a spokesman for the Cedar Rapids-based Rockwell, announced completion of the acquisition today (Monday).Moder says N-L-X provides its products and services to all branches of the U.S. military and its commercial customers include leading training providers and aircraft manufacturers. Virginia-based N-L-X is Rockwell Collins’ ninth acquisition in the past six years. The company has 650 employees. Moder says one of the company’s goals is to supplement internal growth through acquisitions that compliment the core of aviation electronics and communication capabilities.
