University of Iowa officials say they have sold out their allotment of 15-thousand tickets to the January first Outback Bowl in Tampa. Hawkeye ticket manager David Sandstrum says he is holding back one thousand tickets which will go one sale to U of I students on Friday and any of those unsold will be offered to the general public. One way to still secure tickets is to purchase a bowl tour offered by the Iowa Alumni Association. Vice President Chris Bavolak says there are a couple of options for fans. He says they have air-land and land only options with both a deluxe tour and standard tour. As he said above they are offering a deluxe tour which leaves on December 29th and returns January second and a standard package which leaves on the 30th. Bavolak says they have a limited number of spots available.
