The Iowa Hawkeye women were outscored 46-25 in the second half as fourth-ranked Purdue cruised to an 84-55 victory last night in Big Ten action. Iowa coach Lisa Bluder says her team couldn’t match Purdue’s intensity in the second half. Bluder feels the Hawks need 10 conference wins to get into the NCAA Tournament. They get one more chance Sunday in their season finale at Illinois. Bluder says it will be tough to get her team’s mental attitude in shape after “taking a beating” from Purdue last night. Iowa is 9-6 in the Big Ten.
