March 9, 2004 By admin

Jury selection begins today in the case of a 22-year-old Nebraska man who’s accused of gunning down his ex-girlfriend outside her western Iowa workplace. Estaban Valazquez-Ramirez of Columbus, Nebraska, is charged with the shooting death last August of 22-year-old Dora Hernandez of Denison, outside the Denison Farmland Foods meatpacking plant where she worked. Valazquez-Ramirez was reportedly in the country illegally at the time.
