Coming off a weekend split with Illinois State, the U-N-I baseball team now comes home to start a two week home stand, with a road game against Iowa in Cedar Rapids sandwiched in the middle. Although glad to be home after a 22-game road trip to begin the season, Northern Iowa coach Rick Heller knows that it will be a tough home stand hosting defending Big Ten champ Minnesota on Wednesday and defending Missouri Valley champ Southwest Missouri State this weekend. He says there aren’t any “patsies” but he says they look forward to being at home and hope to get on a roll. UNI is 9-13 on the season.
