Girl hurt in accident with teen driver

May 5, 2004 By admin

A western Iowa bicyclist is recovering from a broken leg and other injuries after another teen allegedly hit her with his car. A 13-year old Lake City girl was taken to the hospital yesterday evening following a car/bicycle accident. Around 5:30, Stephanie Holm was riding with a friend north of Lake City. According to District 7 State Police, 15-year old Logan Mogler was driving home from a golf team event. When Mogler tried to pass the bicyclists, Holm steered out in front of him. Holm was taken to Stewart Memorial Hospital in Lake City. No update is available on her condition. State police are still investigating; no charges have been filed at this time.
