William Penn two wins away from World Series

William Penn is two victories away from a trip to the N-A-I-A World Series. The Statesmen posted a 4-0 mark enroute to the Region seven championship.Coach Mike Laird says this is the time of year when you want to be playing your best, and he says they’ve had some of the best starts recently. Penn will host Indiana Tech this week in a best-of-three Super regional with the winner advancing to the world series. He says at this point you feel like you’re along for the ride, after working and preparing all season long. The regional series begins on Wednesday.
