July 26, 2004 By admin

The Kerry campaign’s Iowa press secretary is busy arranging air-time for Iowa delegates at the Democratic National Convention. Colin Van Ostren is singling out a dozen delegates a day, and asking them to call their local talk radio station back in Iowa. Delegates are being pressed to get some ink, too. Van Ostren said delegates will be asked to write letters to the editors of their hometown newspaper at the end of the week.Van Ostren is encouraging delegates to be nice to the media, particularly the local press who’ve traveled to Boston to cover the convention.
