The I-K-M School District in west central Iowa has found a buyer on the Internet for a former elementary school building. School officials say the 1917 building was recently purchased by a couple in New York State who plant to turn it into a residence and geological center for the midwest. Adrian Brisee and his wife read the advertisement for the building on the internet auction site E-Bay. They made a trip to Irwin where the building is located and offered a bid of five-thousand dollars. The school began searching for a buyer about nine months ago. The building was closed as an elementary school about two years ago.
