The U-N-I volleyball team will resume their rivalry with Iowa tonight at the West Gym. The Panthers have won 25-straight matches against intrastate opponents including four in a row against the Hawkeyes. Iowa is 9-6 under first year coach Cindy Frederick. Frederick, a Waverly native, had previously coached at Washington. U-N-I coach Bobbi Petersen feels tonight’s match could be important for recruiting instate players down the line. The Panthers are 8-6. U-N-I saw their 74-match home winning streak come to an end last Friday against Wichita State.
