Gambling regulators award four licenses

May 11, 2005 By admin

The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission this morning approved four new gambling licenses. The panel approved new licenses for the proposed Wild Rose casino in Emmetsburg, the Diamond Joe casino proposed in Worth County, the Isle of Capri casino in Black Hawk County on the southern edge of Waterloo and the Washington County casino project. That’s four of the ten applications for licenses. After those, the other six were denied.
