The Iowa City West girls soccer team opens a bid for a second straight class 2A state championship tonight with an opening round matchup against Dowling Catholic in Muscatine. West is 13-4 on the season after a rough start to the season. West coach Dave Rosenthal says his team has gotten used to being a team with a target on its back.
