A sunny weekend forecast should make one western Iowa towns’ festivities go “over, easy.” The Adair County community of Stuart is holding its annual “Good Egg Days Celebration” this weekend. Things get underway this (Friday) evening at 5:30, with a ribbon cutting ceremony for the electric municipal utilities’ new wind turbine located just north of Interstate 80. Other activities include the “Little stinker contest,” which follows the kiddie parade at seven P.M. They’ll get crackin’ bright and early Saturday morning for “Good Egg run/walk” and other sporting events that begin at eight A.M. A parade for the adults at 11-A.M. Saturday features the Isiserette’s Drill and Drum Corps from Des Moines and there’ll be many other activities at the city park.
