Police find Sioux City woman dead in basement

A Sioux City woman has been found dead in a basement apartment. Sioux City police are searching for two men wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman. 31-year-old Maria Calderone of Sioux City was found dead in an apartment Monday afternoon. Police say she’d been shot in the head. Police are looking for two men they say lived in the apartment. They’ve issued a material-witness warrant for 35-year-old Juveno Trejoand a “John Doe” material-witness warrant for the other man. Officials say Calderone’s husband and children are not involved in the shooting but they haven’t released any other information on her family.
