Authorities have released the name of the western Iowa woman who died in a weekend traffic accident in Harrison County. At around 5:40 Friday evening, local authorities were notified of an accident on Iowa Highway 37 east of Dunlap. Investigators say 51-year-old Beverly Culver of Dunlap was reportedly parked along the shoulder of the highway when she attempted to make a left-hand turn across the road into a driveway, at which time her car was struck along the driver’s side by an eastbound vehicle operated by 52-year-old Robert Block of Dow City. Culver later died as a result of injuries suffered in the accident.
