October 17, 2005 By admin

A rural Harpers Ferry man drowned in a weekend accident on the Mississippi River. 28-year-old Timothy Kleinow and a friend were pushing a boat out into the Mississippi at a boat dock near Harpers Ferry early Saturday when Kleinow was pulled under by the high water and current. Kleinow’s body was later found and pulled from the river. Kleinow and his friend were planning to do some duck hunting when the accident happened.
