Cops ID Mason City man who died in ATV wreck

October 20, 2005 By admin

Police have now identified the Mason City man who died Wednesday afternoon after an ATV accident at a Waterloo recreation park. Officials say 51-year-old Kelly Ollman was riding with a friend in the Riverview Recreation Park and Trail near the Cedar River when he lost control of his four-wheel all-terrain vehicle and struck a tree shortly before 2 o’clock. The accident happened deep inside the 160-acre park, and emergency crews had to use an off-road vehicle to reach the accident site. Ollman was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Waterloo police are still investigating the accident.
