More charges have been filed against five Fort Dodge residents accused of robbing an Iowa Falls bank. 21-year-old Clifford Brown, 20-year-old Veronica Mosley, 21-year-old Andrew Avera, 23-year-old Johnny Slaughter and 22-year-old Diontae Smith allegedly robbed the Ackley State Bank in Iowa Falls on October 6th. The five were initially charged with bank robbery. U.S. Attorney Charles Larson Senior said Thursday that additional charges have now been filed, including armed bank robbery, using a firearm in connection with a crime of violence, and conspiracy to commit armed bank robbery. An arraignment on the new charges is set for Wednesday.
