Two die in crash near Correctionville

Two people were killed Tuesday afternoon in a head-on collision in northwest Iowa near Correctionville. The victims are identified as 20-year-old Timothy Combs of Sioux City and 63-year-old Kenneth Workmeister of Sac City. Workmeister was a passenger in a van driven by 55-year-old Linda Workmeister of Sac City. Combs was a passenger in a pickup driven by 23-year-old Alejandro Galindo of South Sioux City, Nebraska. Both drivers were taken to Mercy Medical Center by air ambulance. No information on their conditions has been released.
