U-N-I’s Hager sets shot blocking mark

The U-N-I women got a win and record against Murray State in basketball action last night (Wednesday). Cassie Hager set the Missouri Valley Conference record for blocked shots just 35-seconds into the game. Hager got her 223rd career blocked shot on Murray State’s first offensive possession. Hager, who’s from Perry, got one other block on the night, as U-N-I took a 40-24 halftime lead and ended up winning the game 82-62.
