Authorities have released the name of the woman found dead Sunday near railroad tracks in Eagle Grove. The woman is 42-year-old Sherri Grand George of Eagle Grove. The body was found lying in the snow in an alley near Main Street behind a local business.

Eagle Grove Police called in state officials to help with the investigation and they say the death appears suspicious. An autopsy will be conducted by the state medical examiner.
