Clarke College closes out nonconference schedule

January 6, 2006 By admin

The Clarke College men’s basketball team closes out its pre-conference schedule on Saturday with a visit to Marian College. The Crusaders have posted a 6-7 record against a difficult schedule and coach Jon Davison has been happy with the progress.

Davison says point guard Demonte Bynum has been the leader he had hoped he would be. He says at the beginning of the year he said they’d only go as far as Bynum takes them. He says Bynum has responded and made everyone else look better. Marian is 4-10 but Davison is concerned about matchups.
