Storm Lake man sought after shooting

January 10, 2006 By admin

Storm Lake police are looking for a suspect believed to be involved in a series of shootings last (Monday) night in Storm Lake. Police say the suspect is 25-year-old Juaquin Pineda of Storm Lake. He’s described as a Hispanic male, five-feet-seven-inches tall, 220 pounds, with brown eyes and very short black hair. He has a tattoo of “SUR XIII” on the back of his head. Pineda was last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants.

Monday night, police say there were three reports of shots being fired. Two of the reports were at the home of Pineda’s ex-wife. There were no injuries reported in any of the three shootings. Storm Lake police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Pineda to contact the police department. Citizens are advised not to approach Pineda as he is considered armed, very dangerous, and possibly suicidal. Contact law enforcement immediately.
