Iowans headed to D-C for Pro-Life march

January 21, 2006 By admin

Several busloads of Iowans are loading up today (Saturday) and heading to the nation’s capital city for Monday’s 33rd annual March for Life. Ann McAlister is the president of Iowans for Life and says they’re excited to march and remember victims of abortion. She says Iowans for Life is sponsoring eight buses, and the Dubuque County Right to Life is sponsoring and additional bus for a total of 465 Iowans.

McAlister says the interest is at an all-time high. She says this is by far the largest number they’ve sponsored for the march. McAlister says they’ll arrive in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, and the march is on Monday.
