A Fort Dodge woman who was attacked in her home earlier this month reportedly died overnight in an Iowa City hospital Police say the 22-year-old woman, who’s never been publicly identified, was sexually assaulted in her Fort Dodge home, tied her up and left there to die as the assailant set her house on fire. She’s been in the burn unit at University Hospitals since the incident January 8th.

With her death, new charges are now expected against the suspect. Thirty-four-year-old Sessions Harper of Fort Dodge is held on charges of attempted murder, kidnapping, sexual abuse and arson.
