Waterloo police search for missing West Union man

March 30, 2006 By admin

Waterloo police are searching for a missing northeast Iowa man. Larry Ronnei was last seen Monday morning in downtown Waterloo. The 56-year-old West Union man — who’s also known as “Lad” — apparently disappeared while on a shopping trip. Police say Ronnei was with his wife and a friend when he went into a downtown Waterloo store to use the restroom and never returned.

Officials say Ronnei is on several medications from a recent hospitalization, but he doesn’t have the medicine with him. Police haven’t indicated if they have any leads in the case.
