Man dies in Waterloo bar shooting

July 10, 2006 By admin

Police are investigating a fatal shooting at a Waterloo nightclub. Police have released little information about the shooting. Officers were called to Club Crystyles around 9:15 Sunday night. Police say a 27-year-old man was shot inside the bar and was pronounced dead a short time later at Allen Hospital.

Witnesses say the shooting occurred during an altercation. Officials haven’t released the victim’s name. No arrests have been made. This isn’t the first shooting at Crystyles Night Club. In 2003, two people were wounded in the parking lot when a man opened fire. Anthony Cole was convicted of attempted murder and other charges in connection to that 2003 shooting.
