Police continue exploring new lead in Huisentruit case

December 4, 2006 By admin

Authorities have questioned a woman who claims to have information about the disappearance of former Mason City TV anchorwoman Jodi Huisentruit more than a decade ago. A press release from the Mason City Police Department states investigators from their department as well as the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are now evaluating the information that was provided by the woman on Friday evening and will follow up on any leads that can substantiate what she said.

E-mails last week sent to the Mason City Globe-Gazette and to Keith Hanson of Clear Lake, who operates a web site about Huisentruit?s disappearance, stated that a person was an eyewitness to what happened in June of 1995 when Huisentruit disappeared.
