Davenport woman charged with stabbing death

January 5, 2007 By admin

Davenport police have charged a 21-year-old woman with stabbing a man to death. Police were called to an apartment where they found 34-year-old Allen Johnson lying on the living room floor. Police say Johnson had been stabbed in his upper chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers took in Megan Price, who was also at the apartment and described as an acquaintance of Johnson, for questioning. Price was later charged with voluntary manslaughter. Police say the two apparently had been arguing on and off and the arguing ended up with Price stabbing Johnson to death.
