Tanner Schultz, Denison-Schleswig

The senior pitcher had two victories for the Monarchs. He tossed a complete game five-hitter in a 3-2 win over Lewis Central and followed that up by striking out six and giving up only five hits in a victory over Storm Lake. Just being on the field is an accomplishment for Schultz, who missed two months of school after suffering a brain injury while playing for the Monarch football team last September.
