Windsor Heights fire chief faces charges

June 21, 2007 By admin

The fire chief in a Des Moines suburb is facing charges after his two underage sons were caught drinking beer. Tom Milewski, the fire chief in Windsor Heights, turned himself him in to police in Clive on Tuesday. He’s accused of providing alcohol to an underage person and third-degree harassment.

Clive police say Milewski took his two sons to the "Clive After 5" event last Friday in a city park. He reportedly allowed his sons to enter a fenced-in area for those those 21 and older and gave them beer. The harassment charge stems from statements Milewski allegedly made to city officials when his kids were asked to leave the area.
