UNI hopes to stop the Jackrabbitts

September 14, 2007 By admin

The UNI Panthers look to go 3-0 when they visit South Dakota State. Coach Mark Farley says the Panthers cannot afford to be flat after a win at Iowa State. South Dakota State has quickly made the transition from division two to division one and played well against the Panthers last year in a 27-17 loss.

Farley says they don’t make mistakes that beat themselves. He says they led last year before losing, and have led in several other games, so they’re a solid football team that’s been proven.

Farley says the Jackrabbits beat a lot of good teams while playing in some tough places already. South Dakota State and North Dakota State will both join the Gateway Conference next season.
