Unbeatens meet in 2A District 1

September 21, 2007 By admin

In Class 2A district one a pair of unbeatens collide as ninth ranked Sheldon plays host to top rated Central Lyon/George-Little Rock. Sheldon coach Matt Meerdering says it could come down to special teams, as Central-Lyon always seems to come up with a blocked punt somewhere. He says it will be some kind of play like that which will determine who wins.

Central Lyon coach Toby Lorenzen says big plays on special teams can change the momentum of a game. He also says it comes down to special teams, and turnovers.
