Quimby man and woman charged with child endangerment, assault

October 11, 2007 By admin

Two residents of Quimby, in northwest Iowa, have been arrested for injuries to an infant. Cherokee County Sheriff’s officers say 25-year-old Cody Foster and 22-year-old Virginia Kelm have been charged after a child abuse investigation. Foster is charged with willful injury, child endangerment and domestic abuse assault. Kelm is facing a count of child endangerment.

Authorities allege a six week old infant was seriously injured in an incident on or around October 8. Department of Human Services staff and sheriff’s officers took the complaint early this morning.
